So straight away here is the answer to the first question always asked – 48PTC  is so named after the 48 hairpin bends on the Stelvio Pass in Italy and is our signature climb, one that we visit again and again with a tour based in Bormio and normally includes the Mortorola and Gavia.

 We have been leading cycle tours and running cycle events since 2005.

Our fully supported tours abroad include vehicle, nutrition, mechanic and physio/trauma support,  transfers, ferries and  Eurostar (for O2P) and accommodation all booked through our associated, fully insured professional travel agents.

Our support crew is led by Event Director David Butler  and other experienced Ride Captains and support riders. The rest of the team include professional bike mechanics and medical staff and physiotherapists.

David is a member of British Cycling, a Level 1 BC coach, Level 2 Road Ride Leader, Level 2 MTB Ride Leader, an Indoor Cycling Instructor, Head of Cycling at Gordon’s School, Cytech certified mechanic, and has many years of tour organisation experience and coaching.
