Hi All,
Back to Paris next year after the Grand Départ in the UK.
The route will be almost the same as previous years, via Portsmouth and the ferry to Caen. Up the coast through Deauville and Honfleur, then cut across country to Château du Tilly, Allée de Tilly, 27520 Boissey-le-Châtel. The third day is via the Voie Verte to Évreux and on to Vernon, Giverny and Monet’s garden into Paris. The route is approximately 10 km less and cuts out Rouen Nord and Les Andelys.

Day One — 113.6 km / 1,261 m
Route: O2P2025 Day 1
Categorised climbs: Côte de Staples Cat 2, Côte de Sampleoak Cat 2, Côte de South Downs Cat 1.
Day Two — 107.4 km / 923 m
Butte de Houlgate Cat 1, Côte de Hennequeville Cat 2, Côte de la Bréhellerie Cat 1, Côte de Jean Jaurès Cat 2.
Day Three — 166.6 km / 1,416 m
Côte des Crêtes Cat 1, Côte de Meulan Hors Cat, Mont Valérien Cat 1.
We have categorised the climbs, which are between 1 km and 4 km long and vary in gradient, with one ramp of 18% on the Butte de Houlgate. We will have a KOM and a QOM. Please note: the categories are in relation to the event and not equivalent to those on the Tour, so don’t fret.
All the routes are available to see on ridewithgps.com via the links above, and both TCX and GPX files are emailed out to riders who have Garmins.
Turn by turn cue sheets are also available.
Riders are grouped according to average speed, and each group has a rider who has previously ridden to Paris with us and at least two Garmins. There are also ride captains leading each group out on the road.
The support vehicles shadow the riders.
There will be several advice and support emails counting down the days to the trip, including information on weather, clothing, equipment and so on.
The finish
We are finishing on Saturday 24 July in the centre of Paris at the Arc de Triomphe / Champs-Élysées, and then on to the hotels, all close to the Eiffel Tower.
We will watch the Tour finish again on Sunday 25 July. Those that want to can join us and ride around Paris on the Sunday, and ride part of the final stage.
We intend to grab the corner close to where we came out of the metro early, with views of the finish, the screen and the podium.
Bikes and bags will be returned in the vans via Eurotunnel again. Riders will come back on Eurostar on Monday afternoon and collect bikes and bags in Oxshott.
Note we are not including Eurostar in the package this year, because we have to book the same time for everyone for a group booking. We will leave you to book your own return, and then you can choose your own times.
The trip
Groups will leave at 06:00 / 06:30 / 07:00 again on the Thursday and get the afternoon ferry to Caen. We plan to stop at Roko again, which is 2 km from the terminal, where we can shower, change, and there will be a buffet. You can also order lunch if you prefer. We will then ride the short distance to the terminal and ride our bikes onto the ferry. You can eat and drink on the ferry as well.
In France we will ride off and ride to our hotel near the terminal, where breakfast is included.
First come, first served on the single rooms. There is an extra cost for single occupancy.
We are planning to stay at Château du Tilly on the Friday night, and the Novotel Rouen Sud is a backup option. Both are 4★.
Dinner and breakfast are included on Friday morning, Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday night, Sunday morning and Monday morning.
There will be support vehicles and vans with mechanic support and physio/medic support.
There will be energy bars, gels, powders, water, bananas and jelly beans available en route.
Lunch each day is extra and optional. We usually stop in Lodsworth outside the pub for either a quick lunch or sandwiches from the farm shop. We take lunch on the quayside in Honfleur on Friday and in Giverny on Saturday.
Sunday lunch and dinner are extra, as we normally eat out in Paris.
